This event marks the Houston debut of Music & Literature, the international magazine dedicated to publishing and celebrating outstanding artists from around the world whose work unjustly remains on the outskirts of Anglophone culture. The evening’s program spotlights work from several of the artists featured in Music & Literature, including Argentinian poet Alejandra Pizarnik, Brazilian writer Clarice Lispector, and Korean composer Unsuk Chin, and others. The program will be emceed by M&L’s founding publisher (and new Houston resident) Taylor Davis-Van Atta.
