Our musical spirits come to life with the music of Rossini, Mozart and Vaughn Williams.  Hear how Mozart’s impressions live on in Rossini’s Barber of Seville Overture, based on the central character of Figaro from the opera bearing his name!  One of Mozart’s final symphonies, number 39, reveals the amazing example his music had on future generations of composers.

Carrying on the tradition, Maestro Tipton has asked Whitney Bullock, Principal Violist, to round out our concert with Vaughn Williams’ beautiful folk song Suite for Viola and Orchestra, traditionally displaying the breadth of virtuosity of our symphony musicians.
